Susan Schmidt

Susan has a passion for learning and growing, and she takes pleasure helping others find their joy in the learning process. She recognizes that everyone learns differently, and it’s her goal to help people figure out their learning styles.

Susan was born in Texas; grew up in Oklahoma; and has lived in the SF Bay Area since 1997. She earned a BA in Classics with an emphasis in Classical Latin and the history of the Roman Republic, and a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She also holds a graduate level certificate in Educational Therapy from the University of California at Irvine Extension, and has done extensive training in Executive Functioning Skills and Mathematics. She has over 25 years of teaching experience ranging from corporate training, private middle school, homeschooling, and one-on-one support.

When she’s not working, Susan enjoys seeing old movies at the Stanford Theatre, spending time with her family and friends, and learning new board games. Her current favorite is Power Grid, but hopes to conquer Feierabend one day.
