We celebrate our students' diverse talents, from elite athletes and dancers to young entrepreneurs, musicians, filmmakers, and artists. These young adults excel in school while developing apps, working in elementary classrooms, building non-profits, publishing books, volunteering, and finding unique ways to change the world. At SIL, students harness their talents, expand their worldviews, and acquire skills to thrive in their post-graduate pursuits.

Our career teachers, passionate about their vocations and academic disciplines, guide, mentor, and challenge students to exceed their perceived limits. In our collaborative classrooms, students explore questions, make connections, and demonstrate understanding through synthesis.

Students choose SIL for many reasons. Our dedicated teachers and extensive UC-approved A-G courses are just the beginning. We create personalized schedules for each student, with 1-3 meetings per course per week, adjustable to meet their goals and deadlines. In one-on-one and small group settings, students progress at a pace that suits and challenges them.

There is no minimum instructional hours requirement—students complete courses by meeting curriculum requirements, exemplifying our “Mastery Learning” approach. Exams are scheduled outside class times when both student and teacher feel ready.

SIL graduates are well-prepared for higher education and professional careers, earning degrees at Ivy Leagues, small liberal arts colleges, and top research universities.
