Ohme Heritage for Mindful Education (OHME) is dedicated to transforming the educational experience for students, families, educators, and administrators. Rooted in the progressive vision of Dr. Herman and Mrs. Jean Ohme, we believe that education should empower every learner—without barriers, without harm, and without a one-size-fits-all approach.

Through innovative, open-access programs, OHME provides funding for educational, inspirational, and assistive learning opportunities that complement and enhance traditional models and private and home schools. Our mission is to disrupt outdated systems, foster lifelong learning, and equip students of all backgrounds with the tools they need to thrive.

The OHME Foundation is dedicated to improving education, and we are proud to support School for Independent Learners (SIL) in its mission to provide a transformative learning experience for all students.

To expand access and enhance SIL’s campus, we are raising at least $100,000 to introduce tuition assistance and fund much-needed campus updates. Our goal is to ensure that every student—regardless of background or financial means—has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive, student-centered environment.
